You’re warmly invited to a very special Sabbath worship experience with Celebration SDA Church this week!
This Sabbath, we will be gathering in a different location — just a short distance away — at “Creation Village World School”. We’re excited for this change of setting and the opportunity to worship together in a fresh space while lifting up the same unchanging Savior.
Our Sabbath School lesson, “The Preeminence of Christ,” will guide us into one of the most profound and comprehensive declarations about Jesus in the New Testament. We will explore what it truly means that Christ is “the image of the invisible God” and “the firstborn over all creation.”
To call Jesus the “image of the invisible God” means that in Him, the unseen God is made visible. His character, love, justice, mercy, and authority are perfectly revealed in Christ. And when Scripture refers to Him as “firstborn over all creation,” it speaks not of origin, but of supremacy that Christ holds the highest rank, authority, and preeminence over all that exists. Everything was created by Him, through Him, and for Him. Understanding this truth transforms how we worship, how we trust, and how we live.
Our Worship Service, titled “Walking in Faith,” will be presented by our beloved pastor, Kevin Robert.
Last week, we confronted the issue of sin and discovered a powerful truth: we are not the problem sin dwelling in the flesh is. This week, we take the next step. If sin is not our true identity, then what is? Paul teaches that we are called to live in the reality of the Spirit to shift from the flesh to the Spirit. But how does that happen practically? How do we actually walk in the Spirit in our daily lives?
Pastor Kevin will reflect on the words of Scripture, including John 1:4, where we are reminded that in Christ “was life, and the life was the light of men.” The life of Christ is not distant or theoretical it is active, transformative, and indwelling. God’s plan has always been more than forgiveness; it is restoration. He does not simply pardon sin He places His Spirit within us so that we may live differently.
Walking in the Spirit means surrendering daily, trusting fully, and allowing Christ’s life to shine through us. It means recognizing that faith is not merely belief, but movement a continual dependence on God’s power rather than our own strength. When we walk in the Spirit, we reflect the Light that lives within us.
