Many people are following many different paths today in this world. They follow the counsel of politicians and media personalities to find peace and joy, but they end up in disappointment and sorrow. Every path in this world of sin leads to death no matter how good it seems. The only path that offers an escape from destruction is found in Jesus Christ and His righteousness. The path of Jesus leads to eternal life even though it may seem narrow and somewhat treacherous to our human reasoning. The path of righteousness is never easy, but it is filled with contentment and peace that world can never understand. You will be scorned and persecuted like all the followers of Christ through the centuries by those practicing sin because of this path, but you must not fear because Jesus has “overcome the world.” May God bless us as we journey on the path of righteousness following His lead even though we might not always know where we are going in this life. AMEN.
